Clubs and similar social groups or organizations are many, most with good service programs that give charity and other services to those in need, and have relevant fraternal events. A lot of these operate internationally and can have any number of chapters in good locations around the country and the globe. These are some of the best outfits with high standards for maintaining good lives for its members and people who benefit from their programs.

Lions Clubs International is one such organization and it is well recognized and respected wherever individuals and chapters are. Multiple Districts 19 Lions is the relevant district for the states and provinces of Washington, Idaho and British Columbia. This is the type of district that covers several states and have more chapters than the average district.

This particular Lions unit is also categorized into distinct operational groups per region, to provide integrity and better coordination especially in action programs. People can know about this particular district online and through HQs and chapters. Those who want to become a Lion should take it upon themselves to learn what they can about the organization.

Volunteerism is the primary and beginning requirement to join the brotherhood. It is in this spirit that brothers, individually and as a group, provide answers to issues that have and will challenge communities around the world. And their actions have only one true justification with their motto, We Serve.

Founded in Chicago, Illinois on 7 June, 1917, the club has maintained the fundamental mission enshrined in its motto. Found Lion Melvin Jones had an idea that attracted the imaginations of many. In a short span of years, its populism and progressiveness created so many chapters and more have been added as it move forward in time.

The word LIONS are a set up of democratic values that protect the freedom of individuals and integrity of nations. They are an active call of duty for all members in all countries where the organization is found and where many members live. These values are Liberty, Intelligence and Our Nations Safety.

Women and men who have good reputations in their communities and or in their majority are the ones invited to join the club. Membership concerns are guided by a set of rules that screens for the best people who can promote the mission and vision of service programs. To reiterate, visiting local chapter HQs is the best thing to do to be updated.

There are flags and banners used by the group to represent all the virtues it stands for. Purple is meant to symbolize integrity and loyalty, gold symbolizes the virtues of liberality, purity, sincerity and generosity. The relevant colors are often used in sashes, uniforms and other official signage used during missions and socials.

The primary concerns or goals set for Lions Clubs is in providing relevant help for those who have need eyesight or hearing preserved. More objectives can be decided on for practical purposes for the group, and these can be connected to current concerns. These are usually in connection with programs for local authorities and other groups who often team up with clubs to provide more effective delivery and intensive service.
